August 2009: Supplemental Retirement Plans: An Emerging Trend in Higher Education Presidential Compensation
An overview of the use of SERPs based on 2006 to 2008 survey data from independent colleges and universities. The results are presented with charts and graphs, as well as comparing Catholic institutions to non-Catholic institutions. The article also recommends the first steps to take for beginning to put a supplemental retirement plan in place.
