In conjunction with the results of our 2009 Executive Compensation Survey for Hospitals & Systems, Yaffe & Company conducted an Executive Compensation Trends Webinar to discuss the results we have observed in recent years. We also discussed the results of a mini survey conducted to analyze the recession's impact on non-profit hospitals.
Topics Included: Base Salaries, Variable Pay Opportunities, Benefits, and SERPs.
The presenters were Alexander Yaffe, President and COO, and Michael Merson, Senior Consultant. Alexander Yaffe has consulted on Executive Compensation, Supplemental Retirement, and Board Effectiveness projects with many of the firm's clients. Michael Merson is the former President of MedStar Health, and current Chairman of the Board of CareFirst - BlueCross/Blue Shield.
