Carolyn Harper
Lyn joined Yaffe & Company in 2009 as a senior consultant providing customized 
governance services for the company’s higher education, health systems, and other non-profit sector clients. She works with clients to develop comprehensive executive compensation strategies which are compliant with regulations, balance the interests of key stakeholders, and continue to attract, motivate and retain strong executives. Lyn also maintains responsibility for the development of products and services which facilitate improved goal setting, strategic alignment, and executive performance evaluations and provides leadership development services for clients in support of their overall executive compensation strategies.
Ms. Harper has extensive experience working in many functional areas of an organization, including business strategy, management, operations, finance, and marketing. Over the past 25 years, Lyn has worked at two large teaching hospital systems as well as in the private sector. She has successfully guided turnarounds and repositioned troubled entities, sourced new investments, and implemented long-range strategies while representing public pension funds and private companies, funding affordable housing and repositioning community retail in undeserved neighborhoods throughout the United States.
Lyn was graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Planning and subsequently earned an MBA from UVA’s Colgate Darden Graduate School of Business Administration.
